Melanie organises yoga holidays and workshops based at her studio by the river Temo in Bosa on the beautiful mediterranean island of Sardinia, Italy. From the sky, before you land at Alghero airport on the west coast you would be forgiven for thinking you had found yourself on another planet. Unspoilt, barren and beautiful with a coastline unmatched anywhere in Europe, here is a last bastion of an old civilisation, and a perfect place in which to retreat. These week long yoga workshops offer a choice of quality accommodation, daily yoga and a wonderful holiday for lovers of nature.

About Melanie: Melanie began practising yoga as a teenager in South Africa and trained as a music therapist. She holds the British Wheel of Yoga teaching certificate. Her own evolving, original style draws on the yoga and teachings of Vanda Scaravelli.

Teaching: Melanie demonstrates and uses hands-on assistance based on what she observes in the students' movements. She uses this intuitive attention to the postures to assist students of all levels to rediscover the joy of movement and physical freedom.
