Learn to climb
Climbing is a fast growing sport but to do it safely and successfully you need an experienced instructor to tutor you in basic and essential climbing techniques - using ropes and harnesses.
There are climbing courses that last for a couple of hours once a week for several weeks - or - you can get away on holiday to a training centre in an idyllic location putting your new skills into practice as you learn. Whether you prefer to rock climb, climb mountains or abseil you will find something great here.
To rock climb you don't have to be young or super-fit there are many levels. Some venues offer 'taster' sessions and provide the climbing equipment. However, you will need good walking boots, climbing shoes and comfortable sports clothing before you start. Climbing is fun, sociable and addictive - great for body toning - and fantastic for mental relaxation!
